Many travelers and Chicago area residents have never driven a boat before, but renting a boat in Chicago is the thing to do Spring, Summer and Fall. Many want to either cruise the Chicago River or cruise out to Lake Michigan to drop anchor and swim or see the skyline lakeside. 
The requirements needed to drive a boat with Rentchicagoboats.com and most boat rental companies are:
- boat driver to have 2 years of boat management experience and or;
- boat ownership and;
- a state boater’s license or documented boater education.
So, what happens when travelers and residents do not have that experience? They can hire a captain, but that’s tough to do the same day or they don’t go! 90% of our rentals are advanced bookings, but the balance comes to us the same day and most do not have the credentials and can’t go boating. So, here’s our solution!
