Chicago Boating has been blessed with terrific 80s/90s weather during September/October. Boats are gathering places to affordably hang out with friends and family and do something different during the time of year that you never thought was possible. Cruising the river and/or river and Lake Michigan can happen year-round as long there isn’t ice flowing. 2020-21 winter only really showed itself during late December and January. Its feeling like we’re gonna get lucky again for 2021-22.
Understand that boat captaining responsibilities must be met with 2 years of hands-on experience coupled with a state boaters license and/or boater’s 
education proof, if not, we have a list of captains to hire. Well don’t make a big deal out of it, go on our Captains page and get your state boaters license; or pick a pontoon boat and look at its page for a captain to hire.
